Compression Therapy
Medical knit compression garments utilize tapered, graduated pressure to move fluid away from the extremities and toward the heart. By being tightest at the ankle and decreasing in pressure up the leg, these garments significantly improve circulation and control swelling. They are available in a wide variety of lengths and sizes to ensure a precise, professional fit tailored to your specific anatomy. Beyond managing medical conditions, they are highly effective for traveling, standing or sitting all day long, during pregnancy, and helps improve exercise recovery. There are also many styles and materials out there to suite almost everyone's preferences.
They aren't just for your grandma with varicose veins... Although they are great for her!
WHO ARE THEY FOR

Standing All Day At Work
Jobs that require you to stand in the same spot for hours causes your venous system to fight against gravity all day long. Tapered compression helps to promote the flow of blood back to the heart.

Traveling
High altitude, pressurized cabins, and long days in a vehicle can cause fluid to pool in your feet and ankles especially when its hard to get up and move. Compression can help control swelling while traveling.

Sitting All Day At Work
Sitting all day prevents the calf pump from activating, which effectively helps blood move up into the body. A knee high compression sock can be a great option for those who have more sedentary jobs.

Spider + Varicose Veins
This is usually the first signs of venous insufficiency, when your veins become visible or raised from your skin. This occurs because the small valves inside the veins that help push fluid up are not as functional as they use to be.
Lymphedema
Restless Legs

After Exercise
Wearing knee high compression right after an exercise can help limit fatigue and soreness as it helps to move fluid and lactic acid out of the bulk muscles.
Lypodema
Venous Insufficiency

Edema / Swelling
When fluid gets stuck usually around the foot, ankle and lower leg swelling can occur. Compression socks help limit swelling by compressing the foot and leg, creating a "wall" of support around the leg to allow the fluid to travel up, rather than out.

By using a different compression weave entirely, true custom compression garments hold their shape extremely well without feeling too tight. We take lots of measurements to ensure all the nooks and crannies are captured to allow for the best fit possible. We are able to create custom compression for almost everywhere on the body, with the most common places being the legs, pantyhose/ shorts, arms and hands. These are used for those with more severe swelling conditions like lymphedema and pitting edema, or who's leg shape is harder to fit into a size garment.
