Canadian Certified Pedorthist
Jared graduated from the University of Lethbridge with a Kinesiology degree and worked as a Kinesiologist and brace fitter before discovering a passion for Pedorthics. He went on to pursue a diploma in Pedorthics at Western University, graduating and becoming a Canadian Certified Pedorthist (C.Ped(C)) in 2024.
Jared is always looking to advance his knowledge to benefit patient outcomes, educate to provide a more well rounded treatment plan, and find time to manufacture and modify orthotics, shoes, and Birkenstocks!
Outside of the clinic, Jared enjoys mountain and gravel biking, hiking, backpacking, riding his motorcycle, and hanging around friends and family.
WHATS A CANADIAN CERTIFIED PEDORTHIST
Certified through both the College of Pedorthics of Canada and the Pedorthic Association of Canada its listed that;
"Pedorthist's are allied healthcare professionals trained in the assessment of lower limb anatomy and biomechanics. They specialize in the design, fit, and modification of custom-made orthotics, orthopaedic footwear, and braces. C. Ped (C)s determine a patient’s treatment through a biomechanical exam and gait analysis."
